PORTWARE DRIVES DEBATE ON MULTI-ASSET CLASS TRADING AT TRADETECH PARIS, 23 APRIL 2008.
London, UK, 17 April 2008 - Jim Feingold, global head of Sales and Marketing and co-head of Product Strategy at Portware, a leading provider of trading and strategy automation technologies, will take part in a panel discussion on Multi-Asset Class Trading - The Opportunities And Challenges For The Trading Desk at this year’s TradeTech event at the CNIT Centre, Paris, on 22 - 25 April 2008.
The panel discussion, which will take place at 17.20 on 23 April, will examine the increasing trend towards multi-asset class trading, the technology, tools and skill sets required to effectively trade across asset classes.
Jim Feingold comments: “In today’s marketplace, firms need flexible solutions that can address their evolving trading requirements. For many firms, this includes the ability to trade multiple assets in a single trading environment. While some firms adopt multi-asset systems to support advanced cross-asset algorithmic trading strategies, such as index arbitrage, most view multi-asset systems in the context of firm-wide strategic initiatives – integrated toolsets that can drive workflow efficiencies, scale easily, and meet future regulatory and structural changes head on.”
Joining him in the discussion will be Octavio Marenzi, president & CEO, Celent; Betsy Anderson, head of Centralised Dealing, Resolution Asset Management; and Andrew Munro, global head of Trading, Henderson Global Investors.
