Throughout his
15-year career in financial technology, Ary Khatchikian
has been at the forefront of the electronic trading movement.
In 1995, Ary founded Indigo-Solutions, where he developed
and marketed NeuronXT, an order management system targeting
small and mid-size investment firms. In January 2000,
after founding Portware with Eric Goldberg, Ary transformed
NeuronXT into Portware Enterprise, the leading automated
and algorithmic trade management system on the market
today. Working with more than 100 clients worldwide, Ary
continues to improve Portware through frequent product
enhancements and new functionality. Ary has become a leading
voice in the electronic and algorithmic trading community. |
Eric Goldberg, Chief Executive

Whether running
a trading desk or launching a financial technology firm,
Eric Goldberg has been an active participant on the front
lines of electronic trading for almost 20 years. Throughout
his career, Eric has held a variety of senior level positions
at buy-side and sell-side firms, running desks specializing
in index, portfolio and derivatives trading. Eric also
holds significant expertise in system development, architecture
and functionality. In January 2000, Eric left trading
to form Portware with Ary Khatchikian. Since its inception,
Portware has established itself as the leading algorithmic-based
trade management system in the industry. Since the system’s
introduction, more than 100 firms worldwide have selected
Portware as their primary system for trade management. |
Scott DePetris , Global Head of Accounts

Scott DePetris has headed Portware’s global accounts for more than five years and has won the support of tier one financial institutions worldwide. Before joining Portware, Scott co-founded, and was vice-president of, ExchangeLab, Inc, an intellectual property development company for financial services technologies. While at ExchangeLab, Scott helped to orchestrate the sale of the company’s primary asset, Financial Auction Network, to a consortium of investment banks, which was later launched as Primex. Prior to this, Scott specialized in equity derivatives at The Goldman Sachs Group. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors at Dekania Acquisition Corporation (Amex: DEK.U) and LSA Family Health Services. |
Jim Feingold , Global Head of Sales and Marketing

Jim Feingold brings more than 24 years of experience in financial services to Portware, having worked at leading firms such as Merrill Lynch, Laidlaw Capital Management and Bloomberg Financial Markets. Prior to joining Portware, Jim was the head of North American Sales for Progress Apama’s algorithmic trading products, where he played an instrumental role in building the Apama business in the Americas. |
Harrell Smith , Head of Product Strategy

Harrell Smith joins Portware from Celent, where he managed the firm’s global Institutional Securities and Investments practice. At Celent, Harrell advised leading financial services firms, exchanges and technology vendors on initiatives including algorithmic trading systems development, market structure, M&A, and platform implementation strategies. Prior to joining Celent, Harrell worked in equity derivatives trading at BNP Paribas and as a commodity derivatives analyst for Morgan Stanley. |
